A Tyler Tech Shop That Stuck Around
The Clone Shop opened in 1989 — back when desktop computers were just finding their way into homes and small businesses. We built our reputation the old-fashioned way: fix it right, charge fairly, explain it plainly.
Over the years we grew alongside East Texas. Computer repair stayed at the core, but we added new and used computer sales, custom PC builds, and eventually a full web design and digital marketing division as our clients' needs evolved into the internet era.
Today we're a family-owned, family-operated shop: Charlie runs computer repair and sales, Amanda leads web design and digital marketing — two distinct divisions — computer services and web services — both under the same roof at our Tyler location. We still answer the phone ourselves. We still give free estimates. And we're still here.

We opened our doors as a computer shop focused on repairs and custom-built PCs — "clones" of major brands that were faster, cheaper, and built to the customer's specs. The name stuck. [Late 1990s] The Internet Changes Everything
